Our goal in 2008 is to continue meeting EVERY mission request, as we have done in the past . Thanks to all of our Donors, Pilots and ground volunteers.
Volunteers and Pilots Lending a Hand
Today, many people cannot receive essential medical care because distance, time, or money are insurmountable obstacles. Patients cannot participate in, or complete clinical trials and research therapies for the same reasons. Primary care physicians frequently offer referrals instead of treatment, and travel to distant facilities is now a commonplace occurrence. For those without the appropriate resources this can be a tremendous burden.
CAIR Flight is the solution! We are a charitable Florida corporation offering a unique community service. Utilizing the trendous flexibility of general aviation aircarft, we are able to reach 90% of the population by flying in and out of communities not served by the the airlines. We are "Volunteers Pilots Lending a Hand."
There is never a charge for our service.
Support from our local community is essential
We see an immediate need for local representation and have chartered CAIR Flight to meet that need. Support from our local community is essential for public awareness, healthcare outreach, pilot recruitment and financial development.
The medical community and our neighbors need to know that services are available. Not one person should miss out on life-saving treatment, or sharing love of family for reasons of time, distance or finance. The Board of Directors and I envision a vibrant organization dedicated to the development of our mission.
